Photograph article dated January 24, 1963 partially reads, "The Los Angeles County Museum has all the appearance and many of the features of a fashionable, rather staid university. But none of the pains. No tests. Or grades. Or required reading. But it does have the essential ingredient of a college or university - the tools that provide an avenue to learning. The museum's specialties include art, history, science and education. And the educational experience is open to persons of all ages." Becky Bowers and Mel Anderson, both of Long Beach, inspect prehistoric elephant.; See images #00126583 through #00126586 for all photos in this series.
