Photograph article dated November 6, 1961 partially reads, "These are exciting days for the Valley's Ginger Drysdale, beautiful 22-year-old wife of the famous Dodger pitcher. Ginger, a photographer's model who has done many television commercials, recently was summoned to Warner Bros. for an interview. Executives were so impressed that they ordered a test scene for her. It came out so well that she was placed under 90-day option and given a part in 'Hawaiian Eye.' But despite the glamorous prospect of a whole dramatic career in television, Ginger is going to spend this weekend helping Don paint the house and paper the kitchen. Don, Ginger and the pair's delightful 2-year-old daughter, Kelly, live in a comfortable, modern three-bedroom home in Van Nuys." Photograph caption reads, "Ginger and Kelly Drysdale will help dad paint this weekend. 'Mom' Drysdale was a smash in screen test."; See images #00128866 through #00128871 for all photos in this series.
