Image of an advertisement for clocks made by Daniel Pratt, Jr. of Reading, Massachusetts; image of clock retail store interior at center; elaborate botanical border with American bald eagle with Union shield at top center.
"Dickinson & Co. Printers, Boston."--text, bottom right of image. "The attention of Merchants and dealers in Clocks, is invited to a new and valuable style of Clocks, recently invented and now manufactured by Daniel Pratt, Jr., of Reading, Mass. U.S.A. ... The subscriber continues to manufacture 30 hour wood and 8 day brass clocks as well as the 30 hour brass clocks, all of which are warranted of the first quality, fitted up in various patterns of cases and sold in any quantity, on reasonable terms. Particular attention will be paid to putting them in tight boxes, when wanted for shipping, on long voyages. All orders, by mail or otherwise, promptly attended to. Daniel Pratt, Jr. Reading, Mass.
