Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated April 9, 1951 partially reads, "The Wade Davis home in Toluca Lake isn't really for sale. Davis' correct answer to 'Whose picture appears on the $100,000 bill?' didn't actually win all those prizes. A mythical program 'Guess and Collectt' [sic] couldn't be true. Yet, Mr. and Mrs. Wade Davis justifiably await delivery of an electric refrigerator, a Crosley TV set, a deep freeze, a 16mm. Bell and Howell sound projector to view the gift of the film of themselves performing the whole proceeding. They have a 72-piece Sterling silver set and $200 in cash, to prove that the 'thing' isn't a dream." Photograph caption reads, "Setting for show - Jane and Wade Davis pose on steps of their Toluca Lake home used to record Ralph Edwards TV Truth or Consequences show set for TV viewing April 12."; See image #00137568 for additional photo in this series.
