Robin Polak, 12, of Encino plays the violin while Joel Lish, also of Encino, conducts. The article partially reads, "Johnny is back at violin practice in the West Valley...Behind the minor cultural revolution is the Saturday Conservatory in operation since last January at San Fernando Valley State College, Northridge...400 students of serious music gather each weekend at the college for small-group seminars conducted by outstanding instrumentalists and instructors from throughout the United States."
