Promotional film about the General City Plan for Los Angeles, California, 1969. Touches on such topics as air quality, transportation, housing, education, the beaches, the mountains, slums, the social environment, budget and economics, development and planning, energy, population, lifestyle, information gathering, laws and ordinances, and utilities. The plan included three parts: 1) a city-wide plan in the short term, middle range, and for 50-years to 2020, 2) community plan, 3) technical plan.
