Description
Republican mural, Divismore Way, Ballymurphy, West Belfast, 2002. Celtic design, Easter lily at top of mural, emblems of four provinces of Ireland (from left Connacht, Ulster, Leinster, Munster); representations of three armed IRA (Irish Republican Army) Volunteers, Bobby McCrudden, Mundo O'Rawe, Pearse Jordan, and crowd hailing them. 'In passing this mural, pause a little while, /Pray for us and Erin, then smile'. McCrudden and O'Rawe were killed in 1972 and 1973 respectively, Jordan in 1992.
