Note: Handschriftliche Bildlegende auf einer Zusammenstellung in E-30.92, die möglicherweise zu diesem Bild gehört: "Südlicher Teil der Miss. Station Bali mit Europäerwellblechhaus III in dem zuletzt Geschw. Steudle wohnten. Hat 3 Zimmer mit kl. Baderaum. Unter dem Dach eine geräumige Bühne. Rechts vor dem Hause der grosse Gemüsegarten mit anschl. Gesinde- + Lehrerhaus. (Früher Küchengebäude zum Europ. Haus, das nach dem Krieg nicht mehr vorhanden war). Links des Europ. Hauses Gesindehaus mit Waschküche, nach vorne oekon. Gebäude, Lehrerhaus + Schulhaus. Im Hintergrund Berge."
Note translation: Handwritten caption of a compilation in E-40.92 that possibly belongs to this picture: "Southern part of the Mission Station Bali with European corrugated iron house III, lastly lived in by missionary Steudle and his wife. It has 3 rooms with a small bathroon. Under the roof a spacious platform. To the right of the house the large vegetable garden with adjacent domestics' and teachers' quarters (this used to be the kitchen house of the European house that didn't exist any longer).To the left of the European house domestics' quarters with laundry, in the foreground an economic building, teachers' quarters & school. Mountains in the background."
