Description
Flagg learned French viticultural techniques and wrote about how they could be used in the United States. He was particularly concerned with pruning, drainage, soil conditions, training and the use of sulfur. Flagg, a wine grape grower from the Ohio Valley, wrote this book in a very agreeable style that combines a travel account and a technical manual.
