Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on January 13, 1977 states: "How much crow will the Sacramento Police Department have to eat after its 37 to "oink" (0) loss to the Sheriff's Department in the Pig Bowl? As a start, Deputy Police Chief Jack Kearns, right, of the SPD took a bitter munch yesterday when he accepted a Perpetual Losers Trophy from Chief Sheriff's Deputy Herbert Anderson in the latter's office. The trophy shows a crow with a fork in it and an embattled football player."
