Photograph caption dated April 17, 1956 reads, "Dr. Jack Darling, left, vaccinates St. Bernard, 'Buck,' against rabies as owner Bonham Campbell, 18521 Prairie St., Northridge, straddles animal to hold it still. Injection was one of 175 given at anti-rabies clinic at First Lutheran Church School, 8344 Reseda Blvd., Northridge. Clinic, part of city-wide program, will be open again tonight from 5 to 8 p.m."
