Description: States that many hundreds of Japanese Americans appreciate McFarling's efforts on their behalf for resettlement, and informs McFarling that his immigration case, for which he had requested a reference from McFarling, was resolved in Hoshimiya's favor (see letter to McFarling, November 1, 1945). The letter mentions that the Hoshimiyas may return to Los Angeles for the sake of Mrs. Hoshimiya's health.
This collection contains materials generated by J. Ralph McFarling, a Community Analyst for the War Relocation Authority, documenting the Amache Concentration Camp in Granada, Colorado where Japanese-Americans were incarcerated during World War II.
