Photograph of a view of Whittier Boulevard at its intersection with Belvedere Street in Whittier, 1924. Early automobiles make their way up and down the wide, paved street at center, which bisects the image as it diminishes towards the horizon. Near center on the left, an oncoming bus can also be seen. In addition to this, one-story commercial buildings can be seen behind the sidewalks, just beyond the utility poles that flank the road to either side. Legible signs from left to right include: "Rexall Drugs Soda", "M[...] Bakery [...] Lunches", and "Hospital".
