"Das Untergestell einer im Bau befindlichen Vorratshütte." ("The lower scaffolding of a storage hut that is being built."). A number of piles of different lengths are erected in a circle. The scaffolding is reinforced by three horizontal poles. Ernst Hermann Schnabel (1904-1953) was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine and served in East Africa until the end of the 1930s. In 1934, he married Käthe Prellwitz in Kyimbila.
