Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated July 3, 1962 reads, "Here's a raccoon that gave up fish for bacon. The animal was trapped in the back yard of Mrs. Dorothea Frommer, 5351 Garden Grove Ave., Tarzana, Sunday, after Mrs. Frommer complained to animal regulation officials an animal was eating the fish in her pond. A trap baited with bacon caught the animal--but not until it had devoured all but 25 of her 100 fish and contaminated the water. Mrs. Frommer's troubles may not be finished--she suspects another raccoon may be in on the fishing."
