Photograph of a view of the construction of the Colorado River Aqueduct, January 4, 1937. The aqueduct curves from the foreground at left into the background at right and is mostly dry. A large ditch has been dug on the left side of the aqueduct, and large mounds of dirt can be seen near the edge. Tire tracks are visible at left. In the background, a snow-covered mountain range is visible. Utility poles can be seen in the distance at right.
