This photograph shows a portion of the damage in Long Beach from the March 10, 1933 Long Beach Earthquake. Shown here is the Superior Ice Cream Company building located on 3027 E. Anaheim Street. Part of the brick wall of the second floor has collapsed and debris can be seen through the first floor windows. Two men (construction/repair crew?) carry lumber along the sidewalk and a sign at the entrance of the building says "Open for Business' All Trucks Operating". DATE NOTES: Date noted on back. ORIG.
