View of the stadium set for the KTLA-TV show 'Rollergames.' The new (versus the old) roller derby track is an oval figure-eight with an alligator pit (foreground) for final 1-on-1 competitions. 'Rollergames' was a short-lived attempt at reviving the roller derby genre that included halftime entertainment by musical performers like Lita Ford, Warrant, and Expose, but lasted only one season. Photograph dated August 11, 1989.
