"Stanford University - May 1, 1900: First meeting toward the acquiring of Big Basin State Park, called by Andrew P. Hill, distinguished photographer, on advice of the Santa Cruz Chamber of Commerce that the movement to save the Big Basin Redwoods from logging should not appear a Santa Cruz County promotion.
