Description
This is a photograph of a man using a rice winnowing machine. "After grounding the rice and again after pounding the rice, the rice is put thru the winnowing machine, which separates the rice from the hulls. This machine is made entirely of wood with the exception of a small piece of iron for the handle. The man's right hand is turning the handle. The rice comes out of the first slot and the hulls out of the second slot."
