Description
USMNT starting lineup in friendly match against Sweden on January 19, 2008 at Home Depot Center in Carson, California. Front row, L to R: Taylor Twellman, former San Jose Earthquakes forward Landon Donovan, Former Quakes midfielder Brad Davis, Pat Noonan, Quakes defender/midfielder Ramiro Corrales; Back row L to R: Brad Guzan, Maurice Edu, former Quakes defender Jimmy Conrad, former Quakes midfielder Ricardo Clark, former Quakes defender Eddie Robinson, and Drew Moor. The U.S. defeated Sweden 2-0 with goals from Eddie Robinson earning his first U.S. cap in the 15th minute and Landon Donovan who broke the USMNT scoring record with his 35th goal--a penalty kick in the 48'. In addition to the six Quakes and former Quakes in the starting line-up, future Earthquakes defender Clarence Goodson came on as a substitute.
