Photographic portrait of Anita Mellus Truddel (Anita Johnson?), the wife of Henry Mellus, [s.d.]. Mrs. Mellus Truddel is pictured in bust, looking straight ahead. She wears a frilled bonnet around her head and a ribbon tied beneath her chin. More lace can be seen around the collar of her darkly-colored dress. She has dark hair that has been parted down the center. Her face is round. She does not appear to be any older than her late twenties.
