Photograph caption dated April 6, 1961 reads, "San Fernando Valley Volunteer League members Mmes. John P. Davis and Bryce Neff guided Los Angeles County Museum visitors through a forest of bones on one of the museum's Treasure Tours. The trip was to show a cross-section of the institution's most interesting and important holdings in art, science and history."
