Description
Photograph article dated January 14, 1963 partially reads, "Author Vance Packard says the population explosion is changing the basic American character. His reasoning: more people are producing more products, therefore advertisers are pushing harder to sell the excess products. It is this increased selling pressure that has its effect on the American character, he says." Author Packard cites effects of population explosion. Do his hands over his face indicate an unfavorable result for Americans?; See images #00121904 through #00121906 for all photos in this series.
