Description
Photograph of a view of Hollywood looking north from Hollywood High School, ca.1908. A bench and several small bleachers are visible to the left side of the baseball diamond in the foreground, with the pitcher's mound visible at center. Beyond this, two craftsman-style houses can be seen, the frontmost of which has laundry hung out to dry in its back yard and a ladder leaned up against its second-floor balcony. More houses are visible in the background, spaced at irregular intervals from one another, extending towards the mountains behind them, which can be seen in detail.
