Description
Small wood box with 10 small bottles that held colored pigment for painting lantern slides. Each jar is labeled with the color inside: light yellow, Blue No. 1, dark yellow, violet, orange, vermilion, maroon, Blue No. 2, brown, and rose. These were used to color slides for Magic Slide projectors, the precursor of the modern slide projector. Also included is a folded paper with instructions on mixing the colors.
