Description
Photograph caption dated January 27, 1987 reads, "Dozens of cans of cocktail snacks lie scattered across the floor of the Safeway supermarket at 1831 W. Third St., where a motorist crashed through the plate glass window yesterday, alarming numerous shoppers within. No injuries were reported except to the driver, who emerged from the scattered goodies to face being booked on suspicion of drunk driving. Police did not release his name, but said his injuries were minor."
