Photograph caption dated March 10, 1959 reads, "Leading the hour-long Antelope Valley Almond Blossom Festival parade was the Queen's float with Festival Queen Carol Francis on her throne and her two pricesses [sic], Charlene Anglin, left, and Claudia Lirusi, decorating the float, which included flowers in the foreground and the native Joshua tree and Yucca beside Queen Carol’s throne."
