Description
A photographic postcard of two couples on back of train, California, USA, circa 1940s. A photo of 2 men and 2 women on the back of a train car. The men are sitting in chairs in the middle and the women are sitting on either side, on the arm of the chair. The man on the left is in dress pants, a button down shirt, and a coat. The man on the right is in pants, button down shirt, tie, possibly platform shoes, and is wearing glasses. The woman on the left is in a pleated skirt, a white shirt, oxford pumps and has a large purse. The woman on the right is in a patterned shirt and has a coat in her lap. The train is sitting on a piece of railroad track and has a sign on the back that reads "On Our Way To California." This postcard was printed by EKC. There is abrasion damage on the top and left edges. There is crease damage on the bottom corners as well as in the middle of the photo. There is also stains on the back. This object is in fair condition overall.
