"A great builder of Churches and his assistant." Portrait of two African construction workers standing alongside a large brick building. Blantyre, Nyasaland [Malawi] was an industrial mission which developed skills such as carpentry, and bricks were necessary to construct the many mission buildings, including the renowned St Michael and All Angels church, designed by Rev. David Clement Ruffell Scott (1853-1907).
