Photograph caption dated January 30, 1957 reads, "Snow in 'Topics' - Marilyn Cohen, 7, and brother David, 10, roll snowball to build snow man in front of modern California ranch-style home planted with tropical shrubs. Palm trees mingled with snow men on front lawns throughout West Valley which got most San Fernando Valley snow.
