Ackerman" [page 9]. ; Clored lithograph showing at top, above title, an American eagle with shield, arrows, and flags. In center, head of Henry Clay in laurel wreath. At left side and bottom, small vignettes of scenes from Monterey, Buena Vista, Cerro Gordo, Vera Cruz, and Mexico City. ; "'I need not say that the affecting subject of the song, touches me both as a father, and I hope a patriot' H.
