Description
"Der Postbote von Ussoke" ("Ussoke's postman"). A full-lenght portrait of the African postman. He is wearing a topee but no shoes. On his left shoulder he is carrying a stick. A load is attached to the front and the rear of the stick. In his right hand the man is holding what appears to be a spear. His clothes are threadbare.
