Los Angeles Fire Department was the proud possessor of $325,000 worth of new trucks and equpment, which was paraded through downtown streets together with old-time pumps and wagons to show the deparment's progress. Photo shows two of the new trucks, which can raise steel ladders 100 feet in the air to fight fires in tall buildings. The new engines are marvels of power and efficiency.
