Description
Baby picture of Albert Tracy de Forest, cousin of Lee de Forest, born in Cleveland, Ohio, 4 June 1863. Died in Palo Alto, California, 13 September 1948. A letter from his daughter Marie de Forrest Emery, to Douglas Perham, dated 24 January 1962, accompanies the photograph. The letter was apparently never sent, and was forwarded in 1969 to Mrs. Philip Perham (sister-in-law to Douglas Perham) by Edina Frank Miller, of Menlo Park, who had found the photograph and letter amongst other items purchased from Mrs. Emery for sale in the Family Service Post in Menlo Park.
