Description
Notation with this image states that this is "a part of the Alamitos Bay skimmer fleet at the club's dock." Pictured are seven small, flat-bottomed, shallow sailboats, each with a tall, narrow, triangular main sail. A few people wearing boating attire are visible walking on the dock at far left. In the central background topped with a prominent dome, there is a large Victorian mansion, suggesting that the location is Naples Island. At far right in the same area, a few other residences can also be seen, surrounded by palm trees and other foliage. Also at right, faintly seen in the distant background are several oil rigs. DATE NOTES: Noted on image back. ORIG. IMAGE: 4" x 8.5" matte print. NEGATIVE: No. KEYWORDS: Sailing, housing, homes.
