Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Richardson Jr. Date: 1951-08-28. Reporter: Stewart. Assignment: Models at Blood Bank located at Pasadena Elks Club. 3-4: left to right: Marlene Maag, 20, model and student of the California Models College is shown being led to have a snack after giving a pint of blood for a GI in Korea. Nurses Aide Mrs. E.R. Engel, is shown on the right. Story is that the models donated blood to publicize the fact that Pasadenan's are behind the bi-monthly quota of 270 pints. Blood blank is at 400 West Colorado Street. For appointment call SY-6-9141. Blood bank is in Pasadena the second and fourth Monday in every month. Caption Only. Sunday or Monday". Edits: "11/12".
