Photograph caption dated November 16, 1961 reads "These two great Birmingham High School linemen, Jerry Hayhoe (pictured), top, and Mike Hekkers, below, will try and put up a road block tomorrow night to stop the hard charging Granada Hills backs in the West Valley league championship game. A record crowd is expected to jam Monroe's stadium to see this classic."
