People sit on the ground at Pitzer College's first student-faculty retreat at Ice House Canyon on Mount San Antonio (Mount Baldy) during the 1964-65 school year. The placard on the ground reads, "academic-social conflict." Similar images of the same event can be found in the 1964-1965 Pitzer College yearbook.
