Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated September 15, 1950 reads, "Jump of progress - This is a partial view of today's Panorama City, which two years ago was Panorama Rancho and the home of a dairy. The vacant land along Woodman Ave. has been covered with homes since the photograph was taken. Houses under construction now will bring the end of the year total of completed homes to 7000 and total new population of 20,000. New businesses have been established to care for the community."
