Description: Photograph caption dated October 27, 1962 reads "Boy Scout Phil Kieffer, 12, of Burbank, looks up at young helpers in Burbank's fourth annual civil defense disaster exercises. The youth is supposed to have been a victim and has been removed to a Bellarmine-Jefferson High School ward for treatment. The drill, which started Friday and continued today, is held to familiarize city workers and volunteers with procedures in all types of disasters." Bellarmine Jefferson High School is located at 465 E. Olive Avenue in Burbank, California.
