Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on June 8, 1964 states: "Perri Martin, the 6 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Martin of Yuba City, Sutter County, is shown with Princess So-Meson or Mrs. Lowana Brantner of Sa-Ah village of the Yurok tribe of the Lower Klamath River and her daughter Princess Kernewau or Elizabeth Brantner. The princesses made an appearance at a western type celebration at Country Club Centre. Other features include old western wagons, Indian art, ceremonial dances and a gun exhibit. . . . "
