Photograph caption dated September 20, 1963 reads, "Actress Gita Kamman (right), 1962 Miss Holland, look over artist's conception of a children's hospital, with Gov. Eligio Esquivel Mendez of Baja California and actress Laura Baker. The two starlets will be part of a group that will ride motor scooters from New York City to Tijuana to promote funds for the hospital. Gov. Esquival donated the land for the hospital."
