On back: "NEW FRENCH HOSPITAL - The hospital as it will appear from Geary Boulevard after the present building is demolished and the west wing is added in 1965. The design is that of architects Rex Whitaker Allen, A. I. A. and John Carl Warnecke, A. I. A., associated for the project. All trees and most shrubs in the present garden are being kept, as well as the historical courtyard fountain, and included in the new French Hospital mall.
