Description: "Student Preachers Ghana School of Preaching which Gerald O. Fruzia conducts at Kumasi - with Samuel B. Obeng, 3rd from right, who teaches with bro. Fruzia. These men served as interpreters for 10 American preachers on short term missionary Journey Feb. and Mar." A group portrait of Ghanaian Student Preachers who attended the Ghana School of Preaching in Kumasi, Ghana. This school was established and run by American missionaries from Churches of Christ. Establishing "preaching schools" for training indigenous preachers and evangelists was a common method used by missionaries from Churches of Christ for planting churches in their respective fields.
