Photograph article dated May 11, 1963 partially reads, "A whale tale that is decidedly true comes out of the Sherman Oaks hills today. Portions of a massive prehistorical mammal were found by workmen hacking out a new driveway at the Cal Frisk residence, 3950 Glenridge Dr. The bones were identified as coming from a Baleen (the oldest-known whale species) which was about 90 feet long and weighed about 200,000 pounds." Note: Pictured is Andrea Frisk, 11, holding a prehistoric piece.
