Photograph caption dated April 7, 1952 reads, "One of the attractive floats in the parade was this one entered by Rogers Ranch. Women riding the vehicle wear old-fashioned sunbonnets." The Desert Circus was a festival in Palm Springs held annually to celebrate the ways of the Old West.
