“Pastors in the Panjab [Punjab].” Portraits of four indigenous pastors. They are (clockwise from top L) Tahl Singh, Nathu Mal, Hakim Singh, Sohan Lal. Nathu Mal was a catechist in Daska. Rev. Hakim Singh was a Sikh convert to Christianity who later became a pastor and missionary. He was based in Wazirabad. Sohan Lal was a Brahman convert from Chamba, who was baptized in 1867. Tahl Singh was also a Sikh convert and preacher.
