Photograph caption dated December 20, 1956 reads "'Merry Christmas to all.' Children stage minor mob scene as they pour out of Bovard Auditorium to receive Christmas gifts from cast of play staged for their benefit by University of California (sic) students. Entire cast lined up after show to help hand out gifts and were kept busy by youngsters who insisted on shaking hands with their favorites. Even Bad Witch was there and most tots seemed convinced by her reformation." The dinner and show were hosted by the Associated Students of the University of Southern California, with transportation and supervision provided by the North Hollywood Kiwanis Club.; See images #00146706 through #00146713 for all photos in this series.
