Photograph caption dated July 22, 1960 reads, "Sybille Saal, 14, left; Janice Schomerus, 13, center, and Tom Mowry, 15, all students at San Fernando Junior High School, don't let scorching Valley heat wave bother them as they 'chomp' into juicy pieces of cool watermelons. They are all members of Falcon Youth Club."
